The beers are great. The owner was fantastic. If you collect glasses, like I do, you must go here. They have a pint glass with the fish logo etched into both sides.

This brewery makes an array of beers that are easy to drink and very satisfying. It's popping up more frequently in Jersey establishments but I still think more places need to get this on tap. The people at the the brewery are very nice, take the tour if you get the chance.

Pub tour on Saturday afternoons is both informative and personable. As business expands and more people are inclined to take the tour, I would hope they would be able to serve draught samples of their beers. How about a summer picnic (BYOF--bring your own food)? The bottom line is the beers produced are excellent in their draught versions and better than expected in bottles!

Had the pleasure of visiting the brewery recently. There were samples of the Dubbel and the Grand Cru. The Dubbel is great and the Grand Cru is fantastic ! If your local pub doesn't have it, find one that does!

The beer was great! I tip more toward the darker side of beers and went crazy with the porter!

The Abbey-style dubbel is great, and the porter is wonderful. But I have also had flawed six-packs of bottled beers (ESB and XPA). However, at least in southernmost New Jersey, I'd bet to has more to do with poor turnover at local distributors than with the brewers. I've had the same problem with other beers. If more micros bottle-dated their beers (e.g., Sam Adams) it might solve the problem.

Maybe you guys should start selling homebrew equipment also since CH Homebrew supply went out of business. We need a homebrew shop in the Cherry Hill/Marlton/Medford/Mt Laurel area.

Draft beers generally are a decent quality...bottled line has been flawed...some bad batches have been apparent... good owners, I like them and hope they succeed.

Nice to see a micro that focuses on perfecting a limited number of distinctive styles, when so many seem to just offer an endless succession of mediocre amberish ales. Flying Fish's well-chosen standards are their crisp XPA (extra pale ale), a nicely balanced ESB, a fabulous Abbey-style dubbel and a smooth, rich porter. All are excellent, and consistently so.
They usually also have one or two limited-run seasonals available; the current offering is their Farmhouse Summer Ale, a tasty Belgian style that goes down very fast on a hot day. Another recent favorite of mine was HopPhish, a wonderful IPA that'd make the perfect gift for that special hophead in your life. Like their standards, these have never disappointed.
Cask-conditioned versions of their brews can often be found on tap locally, and are always worth the trip. Of course availability is very limited, so if you hear of one, get off your butt and check it out soon, cause it won't last long. At least not if I can help it!

A very good bottle-conditioned porter and also like their XPA "extra pale ale" on tap at many bars; a visit to their brewery facility in Cherry Hill last December gave me an opportunity to meet with and go on a walk-through tour conducted by the head brewer.
